To deepen cooperation in vocational education between China and ASEAN countries and promote the internationalization and professional development of talent in the logistics and freight forwarding industry, the 2025 China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week Vocational Skills Competition in Logistics and Freight Forwarding was successfully held from October 11 to 13, in Guiyang, Guizhou Province of China. The event was organized by the China-ASEAN Transportation Vocational Education Alliance and the Secretariat of the China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week Organizing Committee. A total of 24 teams from China, ASEAN countries, Belt and Road Initiative partner nations, Canada, and other regions gathered to compete in two categories: the China Track and the International Track.
The team of our institute, led by teachers Xuan Lingling and Li Yanqin from the Department of Transportation Management, and Sun Shanquan from the Department of Humanities, included students Yu Zihan, Zhang Zhengyi, and international students Sani Aminu Hassan and Cyrus Faithfulshah Chinnan. After two days of intense competition, the two teams from our institute stood out with their exceptional professional skills and outstanding on-site performance, winning the First Prize (Top Position) in the International Track.

This competition not only tested the teaching achievements of our institute but also fully demonstrated the quality of our international student education. Moving forward, our institute will continue to leverage competitions to enhance learning, further deepen teaching reforms, strengthen industry-education integration, and continuously improve the professional competence and practical abilities of international students, laying a solid foundation for cultivating more high-quality international technical and skilled talents.
