On the morning of October 15, the inaugural ZEEKR Global Skills Competition grandly opened at the ZEEKR Global Training Center located at our institute. Contestants from six countries gathered for a pinnacle showdown in the field of automotive skills. The opening ceremony was attended by leaders including Chen Kai, Deputy Party Secretary and President of Zhejiang Vocational College of Transportation; Li Shan, EM Market ZEEKR Brand General Manager of ZEEKR Technology Group; Bai Jiping, Director of the Academic Affairs Office of Zhejiang Vocational College of Transportation; Zhu Fugen, Party General Branch Secretary and Dean of the School of Automotive Engineering; Ton g Li, EM After-Sales Service Director of ZEEKR Technology Group; and Zhang Jian'an, Overseas Quality Director of the Quality Center at ZEEKR Techno logy Group. Together, they witnessed the robust momentum the Training Center injects into this international event.

At the opening ceremony, President Chen Kai, on behalf of the college, extended a warm welcome to the attending leaders, guests, and contestants from the six countries. He elaborated on the college's educational heritage and stated that the institution would fully support the smooth progression of the competition. He expressed hope that this event would build a platform for global automotive skills talents to exchange and learn, helping contestants enhance their skills and grow together through competition. Furthermore, he emphasized that this competition would further promote the collaboration between the college and ZEEKR Technology Group to deeper levels and broader fields, cultivating more high-skilled talents for the high-quality development of the automotive industry.

General Manager Li Shan, from the perspective of enterprise development, explained the deep connection between the Training Center and the event: "ZEEKR's globally deployed after-sales service network requires unified technical standards and highly skilled talents for support, and the ZEEKR Global Training Center is the core solution to this need. To date, the center has already trained a significant number of certified technicians for ZEEKR's global after-sales system. Hosting this competition here not only recognizes the center's training quality but is also a key initiative to select top-tier talents and optimize technical standards through the event."

As the "core host" of the competition, the ZEEKR Global Training Center not only ensured the professionalism and fairness of the event but also further expanded the platform's influence through the competition. From an industry perspective, the successful practice of the Training Center provides feasible experience for vocational colleges and enterprises to jointly build integrated "competition + training" platforms, holding significant importance for promoting the standardization and internationalization of skilled talent cultivation in the automotive industry.

Following the opening ceremony, contestants, guided by the Training Center staff, began familiarizing themselves with the competition workstations and procedures. In the subsequent days, they will engage in intense competition on professional platforms, focusing on core items such as the maintenance of the three-electric system and intelligent fault diagnosis, showcasing the top-level expertise of global automotive technicians.

Looking ahead, Zhejiang Vocational College of Transportation and ZEEKR Technology Group will continue to utilize the Training Center as a base to host various international skills competitions and training activities, aiming to establish the ZEEKR Global Training Center as a significant platform for promoting global automotive technology exchange and talent cultivation.
