This 3-year program aims to cultivate students to master knowledge and skills in marine navigation, ship maneuvering, ship management, and modern shipping enterprise management. The program focuses on developing strong practical abilities and international competitiveness, enabling graduates to qualify for positions such as third officers on ships of 3,000 gross tonnage or above in unlimited sailing areas, and to adapt to the advancements in modern maritime technology. Graduates can be able to work in shipping companies, maritime administration departments, and other related units, engaging in ship navigation, ship operation and management, and maritime administration.
Teaching facilities include 2 on-campus display training rooms, 1 maritime vocational training and assessment center, 16 competency evaluation training rooms for seafarers, 4 ship virtual simulation training rooms, and 1 smart port and shipping service training center.
